Monica Viale, Partner
Monica has spent the last 20 years working alongside dynamic leaders across tech startups, high-growth companies, and global financial institutions—holding leadership roles at Silicon Valley Bank, Facebook, and Sequoia Capital.
She’s a connector by nature and thrives as a business partner to leaders—bringing calm, clarity, and a get-it-done attitude to every challenge. Equally passionate about the people behind the scenes, Monica has led, hired, and mentored EA teams—and has recruited Executive Assistants for companies like Facebook and Sequoia. She shows up with heart and a deep commitment to helping people succeed.
Outside of work, Monica loves stand-up comedy and traveling. She enjoys learning about local traditions, sharing meals, and connecting with people wherever she goes. She has a wonderful son who lives in NYC and three spirited dogs who are convinced every day is a party (and may occasionally crash a Zoom meeting).

Philip Velez is a seasoned HR executive with over 20 years of experience designing and leading talent acquisition strategies that help organizations attract, hire, and retain high-impact teams. He blends evidence-based recruiting practices with deep talent management expertise to build workforces that fuel growth and deliver lasting business results.
Specializing in growth-stage and evolving companies, Philip has developed scalable recruiting systems that strengthen talent pipelines, accelerate workforce expansion, and elevate employer brands. His integrated approach — connecting recruiting to performance, retention, and culture — helps organizations reduce turnover, improve team effectiveness, and create environments where both people and business thrive.
Beyond his work, Philip is an avid hiker and mountain biker who loves to travel. A passionate advocate for dog rescue, he dedicates time to improving the lives of animals and the communities they live in.
